Ceci and Danny’s May wedding was bright, romantic, and a fairytale story brought to life. College sweethearts, the couple was able to plan their wedding in just under a year with the help of The Cove’s in-house vendors and venue coordinators. Their engagement story, however, had a bit more surprise to it than their wedding planning process. Ceci recounted her proposal story for us.

“I had planned a nice dinner date for us just for fun and had coordinated to play games with my family after. Danny took this opportunity to surprise me with a proposal when I least expected it. We went to dinner and then stopped at a park on the way there. Here, he guided me to a decorated pavilion, where he got down on one knee. I said yes but was in disbelief from the shock. It was one of the happiest days of my life.”

After their engagement, the couple was excited to plan a wedding that truly captured their love story in a space that felt right for them. Ceci, a wedding photographer herself, expressed that it was important to her to still be able to be a part of the design process of her wedding and help in choosing the aesthetics and details.

“Initially what drew us to The Cove was the fact that it was brand new and we would be the first wedding there. I really wanted something unique that had never been seen before, so that’s what piqued my initial interest. I also loved the modern black-and-white look that matched the vibe I was going for.”

“Things like booking all the other vendors felt stressful and I am so grateful that we went with The Cove because of the all-inclusive packages. They recommended a great floral company and provided the DJ, Cake, Coordinator, and Catering/Drinks. It felt like the perfect amount of hands-on and being taken care of.”

Ceci and Danny chose a bright color palette for their wedding, with vibrant spring flowers and blue satin linens. Special additions to their day included disposable cameras on the tables for their guests, glow sticks for their reception, and a champagne tower in the middle of the dance floor as a unique photo opportunity.

Ceci and Danny’s wedding at The Cove was truly a night to remember, and we loved seeing how they styled the space and customized their personal aesthetic for their wedding day.
