Feed the Hungry
Your event lives on to help those in need. Being in our industry, one of the biggest issues in our industry is food waste. The USDA’s Economic Research Service (ERS) estimates that food waste in the United States is between 30-40% of the food supply.
Food Insecurity is one of the persistent challenges in Central Ohio. Nearly 2 million people in Ohio experienced food insecurity at some point in the past year.
Through our partnership with Food Rescue CBUS, excess food from our events is sent to local social service agencies throughout central Ohio.
Floral Rescue
Same with any left over food, Food Rescue CBUS delivers fresh florals from our weekend events to senior living facilities throughout central Ohio.
After each wedding, our team removes and reprocesses the flowers that were used. After the weekend we have flowers ready to be donated to local senior living facilities.
